Get instant push notifications every time a payment is recorded at your school.
Real-Time Payment Alerts
The SkoolWisely Proprietor app sends you a push notification every time a payment
is successfully recorded at your school. The notification includes:
- The student's name
- The amount paid
- The branch where the payment was recorded
Notifications work even when the app is closed. As long as your device has an
internet connection, you will receive payment alerts in real time.
Notification History
All notifications are stored in the Alerts tab inside the app.
Unread notifications show a badge count on the tab icon. Opening the Alerts tab
marks all notifications as read automatically.
Enabling Notifications
On first launch, Android will ask you to allow notifications from the app.
Tap Allow to enable payment alerts.
If you accidentally denied this permission, re-enable it manually:
- Open your phone's Settings
- Go to Apps → SkoolWisely Proprietor
- Tap Notifications
- Toggle notifications On
Not Receiving Notifications?
If payment alerts are not coming through, check the following:
- Notifications are enabled in your phone settings for this app (see steps above)
- Your phone has an active internet connection
- You are signed into the app — notifications require an active session
- Your phone's battery saver or Do Not Disturb mode is not blocking notifications
- Your school's web portal is correctly configured with push notifications
