Viewing Payments

Browse and search the live feed of every payment recorded by your bursars.

Your Financial Overview

The dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It shows a real-time financial summary for the current academic term across your school or selected branch.

Summary Cards

The dashboard displays four key figures at the top:

Total Expected The total amount invoiced to all students this term
Collected Amount received so far — online and cash combined
Total Debt Outstanding balance still owed across all students
Students Total number of active students this term

Below the cards, a Collection Rate progress bar shows the percentage of total fees that have been collected so far this term.

Switching Branches

If your school has multiple branches, tap the branch chip in the top-right corner of the dashboard header to open the branch selector. Choose a specific branch to view its data in isolation, or select All Branches to see a consolidated total across every branch.

Switching Terms

The horizontal pills displayed below the school name show all available academic terms. Tap any pill to switch the dashboard to that term's data. The active term is highlighted in white.

Refreshing the Data

Pull down on the dashboard screen to refresh all data and pick up any new payments, branches, or terms that may have been added since you last opened the app. The dashboard also updates automatically in the background.

Tip: The dashboard shows live data — there is no need to log out and back in to see the latest figures. A quick pull-to-refresh is all you need.

The Payments Feed

The Payments tab shows a chronological feed of every successful payment recorded by your bursars on the web portal. Each entry in the feed shows:

  • Student Name
  • Amount Paid
  • Payment Method — Cash, Bank Transfer, or Online
  • Date & Time the payment was recorded
  • Branch (for multi-branch schools)

Searching Payments

Use the search bar at the top of the Payments screen to filter the feed by student name. Results update as you type — useful for quickly confirming whether a specific student's payment has been recorded.

Loading More Payments

Payments are loaded in batches of 20. Scroll to the bottom of the list to automatically load the next batch. Continue scrolling to go further back in payment history.

Read-Only: You can view payments but cannot edit, delete, or record payments from the app. Any corrections must be made by your bursar on the web portal.

Real-Time Updates

When a bursar records a new payment on the web portal, it appears in your Payments feed automatically — no need to refresh manually. You will also receive a push notification for every new payment. See Notifications for more details.
