Payment Prediction

Identify guardians likely to default before the term starts and take early action.

What is Payment Prediction?

The Prediction tab uses each guardian's historical rating scores to forecast who is likely to struggle with payments in the upcoming term — before invoices are even generated. This gives you the opportunity to take proactive action rather than chasing payments after the fact.

Risk Levels

Risk LevelCriteriaRecommended Action
High Risk Completion score below 2.0, or both scores very low Contact guardian directly before invoice generation
Medium Risk Completion below 3.0 or timeliness below 2.5 Send an early reminder as soon as invoices are generated
Watch Scores declining over the last 3 terms Monitor — scores are trending downward
Good Standing Consistent, reliable payment history No action required

Filtering by Risk Level

Tap any of the four summary cards at the top of the Prediction screen to filter the list to that risk level only. Tap the same card again to clear the filter and return to the full list.

How to Act on Predictions

The Prediction tab is read-only — it surfaces information for your awareness. To act on the predictions:

  • Share the list of High Risk guardians with your bursar so they can reach out before the term begins.
  • Ask your bursar to set up early or more frequent reminders for Medium Risk guardians on the web portal.
  • Consider offering installment payment plans to High Risk guardians to make it easier for them to commit to paying.
Schools that proactively contact High Risk guardians before each term consistently achieve higher collection rates compared to schools that only react after payments become overdue.
